Liftoff Employer Portal Questions

What is the process for getting my team trained?

Step 1: To get your team signed up, start by adding the number of courses you’ll need to your cart above. Add one course for each employee. Click the green button to view your cart.

Step 2: When checking out, you’ll create your group account and purchase the courses.

Step 3: Upon completing purchase, you’ll enroll each employee using our enrollment form.

Step 4: Employees will receive an email with their account login instructions. You’ll also have a dashboard where you can see all of the progress your employees are making and download their certifications.

Can I bulk purchase additional courses now for later use?

Yes! Purchased courses that have not been used do no expire.

This means you may purchase courses in bulk for future use. Many companies will do this in preparation for new hire training.

Should I sign an employee up for the Certification or Recertification Course?

The Forklift Operator, MEWP Operator, and Fall Protection Certification courses are meant for those who have never received a certification before.

The Forklift Operator, MEWP Operator, and Fall Protection Recertification courses are meant for those who have expired certifications or those who have been instructed to retake the course.

If you are unsure which to sign an employee up for, go ahead and sign them up for the Certification.

Is the training in English and Spanish?

Yes! All of our training is provided to you in both English and Spanish.

When you sign up for the certification or recertification, you will automatically be enrolled in both the English and Spanish versions of the course.

Your progress will automatically be updated in both as you move through either course.

How long does the course take?

The course covers all required OSHA, ANSI and CSA standards and typically takes about 1-3 hours.

After an employee passes, they will have immediate access to a downloadable certification, which can be printed right away

Do I need to provide a practical evaluation for each employee?

Per OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements, an employee must complete both the online course and an in-person practical evaluation.

We provide you with the required practical evaluation checklist for free that can be used to administer the practical evaluation.

Once completed, the employees certifications will be signed by the practical evaluator, which will fully certify them for 3 years for forklift and MEWP, and 2 years for fall protection.
