How do I complete the required practical evaluation?

For trainings that require a practical evaluation, the online course is the first step in the certification process. After completing your Liftoff Certifications online training, you must also complete an in-person practical evaluation with a qualified evaluator.

The practical evaluation is completed at your workplace using the applicable equipment. Your evaluator should be knowledgeable, experienced, and familiar with the equipment and tasks being evaluated.

Each training includes a Practical Evaluation Checklist. After completing your online training, you can download your certification and Practical Evaluation Checklist from your Course Dashboard. The checklist provides the evaluator with the items that should be reviewed during the hands-on evaluation and is available in both English and Spanish.

Once the practical evaluation is successfully completed, the evaluator should document the evaluation and complete the applicable practical evaluation information on your certificate.

Liftoff Certifications provides the online training and practical evaluation materials. The hands-on evaluation is completed by the employer or another qualified evaluator and is not performed online by Liftoff Certifications.
